1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and information created when you use PlanShare Social. PlanShare Social is operated by SageNest Labs Private Limited.

Account and profile information, such as your email address or phone number, display name, username, bio, profile photo, and authentication identifiers.
Content you create, including events, groups, messages, comments, polls, tasks, itineraries, photos, expenses, balances, and settlement records.
Location information when you choose to use nearby discovery, maps, event locations, or live-location features.
Usage and diagnostic information, such as feature interactions, app version, device and operating-system details, crash reports, and performance data.
Notification tokens and preferences when you enable push notifications.
Support requests and product feedback you submit, together with your account identifier, app version, and platform so we can investigate and respond.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve PlanShare Social. This includes authenticating accounts, showing relevant events and people, delivering messages and notifications, coordinating groups, calculating shared expenses, preventing abuse, resolving support requests, and diagnosing failures. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Location and permissions

PlanShare Social requests location, photo-library, camera, calendar, or notification access only when a feature needs it. You can deny or later revoke these permissions in your device settings. Nearby discovery may use saved or device-provided coordinates. Live location is shared only when you deliberately start that feature.

4. Messages and security

Direct text messages use end-to-end encryption when encryption keys are available. Group chats, event chats, attachments, message metadata, and direct-message fallback delivery are protected in transit and by authenticated access controls, but are not necessarily end-to-end encrypted. No service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device and sign-in methods secure.

5. Service providers

We disclose only the information needed for providers to perform services for PlanShare Social. Depending on production configuration, these providers may include:

Supabase for authentication, database, storage, server functions, and real-time delivery.
Expo and Apple or Google services for app delivery, device permissions, maps, and push notifications.
Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics when enabled.
PostHog for product analytics when enabled.
AI processing and paid subscriptions are not enabled in the MVP.

6. Visibility and sharing

Your public profile information can be visible to other PlanShare Social users. Event and group content is shown according to its visibility and membership settings. People you invite or collaborate with can see the information needed for that shared plan. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or as part of a business transfer, subject to applicable law.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain backups. You can delete your account from Settings under Delete Account. You may also contact sagenestlabs@gmail.com. Deletion removes or de-identifies account data from active systems, subject to legal, security, backup, and records that must remain consistent for other users.

8. Your choices and rights

You can edit profile information, manage app permissions and notifications, and delete your account in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a copy of your information. 9. Children

PlanShare Social is not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as PlanShare Social changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Privacy requests and general support are available at sagenestlabs@gmail.com.
